The EASI-R Earth Fault Indicator by Elektro-Mechanik GmbH (EMG) is designed for use in radial networks with one input and open-ring networks that are solidly earthed or low resistance-earthed. It provides reliable detection of earth faults, enhancing the safety and reliability of electrical systems. The device can detect permanent earth-faults, and it supports remote reset and test functionalities. The indicator set includes a display unit and a sensor (CT), which must be mounted on screened cables and can be retrofitted onto existing systems.
