Business Development Manager (Energy)

Key Results Areas:
Energy Business Development Manager will be response to manage Energy products / systems and service in the country across all segments, he will be responsible to manage the end user accounts in the governmental segment, oil -gas petrochemical , Mining & Utility in the country and leverage excellent business relationship with end users , he will be responsible to identify the business potential with the end users and support the country and the region to increase the demand generation by setting up clear account plans based on the investments with the end users.

Requirement:
• A Saudi National (is preferred)
• BSC in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 7 - 12 years of work experience in sales and account management domain
• Power and Automation knowledge
• Deep understanding of electric power market in KSA from its effective utilization and optimization point of view
• Very good communication, presentation, relationship and key client management skills
• Proven skill to closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business
• Excellent communication Fluent in Arabic and English team player experience in the same Field
• Position is located in Al-Khobar with extensive travel across KSA

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the following but not restricted to:
• Develop, manage and implement of accounts strategy focusing on customer satisfaction, growth and profitability
• Coordinate the sales activities and expectations
• Participate and contribute in sales strategy by exploring the customers current business, mid and long terms plans, and investments
• Be responsible for the definition and proposals for sales targets and growth margins for the assigned accounts and ensure the achievement through a structured process and follow up
• Leads the development and implementation of the account plan to include designing the executive relationship strategy and coverage plans, prioritizing the opportunities, identifying a target for each solution element. Proposes recovery plans in case of potential order shortfalls.
• Establishes and develops account relationship base on a defined strategy. Acts as focal point for problem resolution and monitors customer negotiations. – Develops, maintains and detailed knowledge of the customer’s business strategy purchasing behavior, organization, decision-makers, customer business driver’s economic trends, and competition.
• Support the sales organization in selling products/solution/services to customers focusing on volume mix and profitability targets for assigned business unit
• Monitors competitors’ activity with each account and ensures that appropriate response strategies are formulated and implemented.
• Creates added value for the customer and ALHAITAM by ensuring a coordinated sales approach (e.g. frame agreements). Communicates details in accordance with ALHAITAM offering and strategy coordinates the use of internal or external resources (e.g. technical, advertising and marketing) in order to provide value added services to accounts.
• Manage the AVL (Approved Vendor List) and coordinate with organization teams to have ALHAITAM energy products / system and service is approved within the accounts.
• Manage and handle the vendor registration within end user accounts for product/ systems and service.

Sales Engineer (Electrical)

Requirements
• A Saudi National. 
• Preferably a BSc / Diploma degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of work experience of which last 3 years in Sales / Mktg. / BD position in an Electrical trading / Manufacturing company.
• Deep understanding of Electrics Sales Market segment in KSA.
• Very good communication, presentation and Strong leadership capabilities.
• Proven working experience as a procurement manager, procurement officer or head of procurement.
• Knowledge of sourcing, sales and marketing techniques as well as a dexterity in “reading” the market.
• Talent in negotiations and networking.
• Good knowledge of supplier or third-party management software.
• Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers.
• Experience in collecting and analyzing data.
• Preference is for a Saudi national.
• Position located in Al-Khobar & Riyadh with extensive travel across KSA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the following but not restricted to:
• Explore opportunities. Locate and propose business deals to potential clients.
• Take complete ownership of BD, sales and marketing function of the company in power and electricity market. 
• Working on all markets in Saudi Arabia for existing products of Power Division and other related products as well.
• Visit customers (OEMs & Contractors) on regular basis and bring business.
• Your main Client Account will be Saudi Electricity Co. Ma’aden, Marafiq, SWCC, SABIC, Saudi Railways, Riyadh Metro and all EPC contractors in Saudi Arabia.
• Achieve the objectives.
• Achieve the sales target given by the direct manager.
• Generate enquiries from the customer.
• Send enquiries to the manufacturer and obtain competitive offer.
• Submit offers to customers and Follow up on the status on weekly basis.
• Negotiate with customers and suppliers to close the deal.
• Review of Purchase Contract and monitor the execution of the order until Payment Receipt.
• To maintain existing customer relationship and work in increasing the Customer Base by bringing in new customers.
• Coordinate for Prequalification of new Suppliers with Utilities in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain as needed.
• Maintain relation with SEC Local office for any tender coordination.
• Review and Preparation of SEC Technical Tender Documents.
• To travel on business all over Saudi Arabia and to other countries based on the requirement.
• To undergo training for specific products whenever required and to attend to after sales services and resolving customer issues.
• End to end responsibility right from generating enquiry to delivery and receipt of payment.
• Meeting the Sales Targets that will be assigned on annual or bi-annual basis.
• Strictly adhere to submission of Sales & Business Reports on the deadline.
• Follow direct manager instructions and adhere to company policies and quality procedures.
• Represent company in private forums as advised by the management
• Any other tasks, duties and responsibilities assigned by the Direct Manager from time to time.
